| How did you learn about Acrobatic Gymnastics? |
Through a previous gymnastics academy that added acrobatic gymnastics classes. |
| |
| What are the main features of Acrobatic Gymnastics that interest you than any other sport? |
Acro is one of the most unique and creative sports out there. You can constantly challenge yourself with new and |
| innovative skills. You never play the same "game" twice like other sports. I really enjoy the satisfaction I get from |
| onlookers that are mesmerized by our skills and abilities as athletes. |
| |
| What are your goals in Acrobatic Gymnastics? |
My goals within acro are to compete internationally, and to compete at Worlds. |
| |
| How has Acrobatic Gymnastics helped you grow as a person? |
Because acro is such a physically demanding sport I have had to be dedicated and driven in order to reach my goals. |
| This sport isn't just something you pick up as a hobby, you really have to work hard independently and with a |
| group. These traits used within the sport carry over to other aspects of my life and have helped me reach many other |
| goals I have set for myself. |
| |
| What do you like about being at West Coast Training Center? |
When I first joined WCTC I was nervous being around the top athletes in the US, but I soon found out how |
| welcoming and at home I felt around the team. Everyone encourages each other to do their best. My coach has helped |
| me improve my techniques immensely by constantly critiquing my skills and teaching the proper way to execute a |
| skill. |
