17 hours

What age did you start Acrobatic Gymnastics?
10 years old

How did you learn about Acrobatic Gymnastics?

Through a previous gymnastics academy that added  acrobatic gymnastics classes.

What are the main features of Acrobatic Gymnastics that interest you than any other sport?

Acro is one of the most unique and creative sports out there. You can constantly challenge yourself with new and

innovative skills. You never play the same "game" twice like other sports. I really enjoy the satisfaction I get from
onlookers that are mesmerized by our skills and abilities as athletes.

What are your goals in Acrobatic Gymnastics?

My goals within acro are to compete internationally, and to compete at Worlds.

How has Acrobatic Gymnastics helped you grow as a person?

Because acro is such a physically demanding sport I have had to be dedicated and driven in order to reach my goals.

This sport isn't just something you pick up as a hobby, you really have to work hard independently and with a
group. These traits used within the sport carry over to other aspects of my life and have helped me reach many other
goals I have set for myself.

What do you like about being at West Coast Training Center?

When I first joined WCTC I was nervous being around the top athletes in the US, but I soon found out how

welcoming and at home I felt around the team. Everyone encourages each other to do their best. My coach has helped
me improve my techniques immensely by constantly critiquing my skills and teaching the proper way to execute a
skill.

What are your accomplishments in Acrobatic Gymnastics?

2006 1st Place at National Championships in Kansas City, Missouri

2006 Highest Score Award at Regionals

2008 2nd Place at National Championships in Des Moines, Iowa
